Show HN: Meeple Scan - photograph a board game shelf, get each
Get instant BGG ratings for your board games with a simple photo scan
Meeple Scan is a web-based tool that lets you photograph your board game shelf and instantly get the BGG (Board Game Geek) rating for each game.
This can be a huge time-saver for community moderators who want to provide their members with accurate information about the games they're playing.
The tool uses AI-powered image recognition to identify the games on your shelf and look up their BGG ratings, making it easy to get the info you need without manually searching for each game.
We can see potential applications for this tool in Discord communities, where game servers often have shelves of games that members want to discuss or play together.
The tool is still in its early stages, but it's already showing promise as a useful resource for board game enthusiasts and community moderators alike.
